Silk does not photograph easily. The hol ground reads one color straight on and another at an angle, and no screen has yet held the black of the black hol. So every listed piece is photographed twice in natural morning light — flat, and raking — and a commission begins with photographs of the dyed thread itself, before the loom is dressed.

Woven to a length, a palette, a particular weft.
A length can be commissioned — the hol figure on a ground you choose, or the elephant sabai in a different field. Lead time is about a month from the day the thread is tied. Two looms, fifty centimeters on a good day; the cadence is not negotiable.
Write with what you have in mind. Photographs of the dyed thread come back before the loom is dressed, and the price is agreed before the first pick. From USD 110 for a hol length; the figure and the ground decide the rest.
